Spring Treasures

Do you notice how welcome it is
When spring comes our way?
We must bask in the sun
For it might not stay that way

Enjoy the birds and flowers
The sounds so peasant to me
The air smells delightfully fragrant
And sights are striking to see

Even if you have a job you can
Take your break outside
Like the FedEx folks, for instance
No matter where they reside

Get outside as much as possible
Experience natures treasures
For nothing is more welcome as
They bring us so much pleasure!

I HAVE HEARD IT SAID

One can't go home again
That's only true in part
Anytime I choose
I go there In my heart.

I can sense the sounds,
The touches -- All the sights,
All the voices I love
Echoing through my nights.

It has all passed by now
That time -- That way.
Yet, with each heartbeat
I relive it every day.

Waterfall

I spend long hours sitting here,
And listening to the sound,
Of water tumbling from a falls,
In quest to reach the ground.
My mind is lulled into a place,
That trouble cannot find,
Can’t interrupt the tranquil depths,
That calm and soothe my mind.
A troubled spirit at once healed,
By way of God’s creation,
I gaze at what can easily,
Restore me with elation.
And some might say,
what’s wrong with you?
It’s just a waterfall,
But still I sit and marvel at,
What fills me with such awe.
I find the peace and quiet here,
That recently seemed elusive,
I leave behind the throes of life,
Those tend to be intrusive.
Now put aside, not thought about,
So that nothing spoils this time,
When Nature works her magic as
She calms my soul and mind.

Spring is the most glorious time
The flowers and birds are all out

The bees are buzzing, making honey
It is all what springtime is about.

Wise Words by a young lady named Debbie

1. Walking is simple, yet powerful.

2. It can help you stay trim, improve cholesterol levels, strengthen bones, control blood pressure, lift your mood, and lower your risk of a number of diseases (diabetes, heart disease, for example).

3. A number of studies have shown that walking can improve memory.

4. The Cove Fitness Center has three treadmills to make walking easy and convenient.

Spring and Summer Flowers

I love my spring and summer flowers
They make life so glorious for me
They announce every single color
And they are so exhilarating to see.

My flowers truly charm the bees
They charm the butterflies too
Tall roses grace the background
I would love to show them to you.
